2015 Omaha Convention Info

2015 BANNER FINAL

REGISTER NOW TO ATTEND

You are invited as a member of the Chicago & North Western or Union Pacific Historical Societies to meet in Omaha from June 4-7, 2015 to attend a historic joint annual convention.  This will be the first time both Societies have combined forces to put on great presentations for all to enjoy.

The convention will be jam-packed with events for members and their spouses. Plans include presentations, tours, swap meet, model train tours, silent auction, photo and model contests and the opportunity to purchase a variety of products from both the C&NWHS and UPHS company stores. There is even a rare, limited opportunity to visit Bill Wimmer’s railroad museum. Check the latest convention timetable for details of the events.

What’s more, don’t leave your spouse at home!  Special women’s tour and several presentations have been planned for the ladies. Check here for a guide to all the women’s events.

Located in Omaha, NE, all routes of air, train and automobile transportation are accessible to easily coordinate your travel plans.

The convention will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton located in downtown Omaha at 1616 Dodge Street. A special convention rate has been negotiated for you.

Sign Up Today – it is as easy as 1-2-3!

Your registration form is attached.  All you need to do is 1) Fill out the registration form; 2) Print the form; and 3) Mail it in with your conference fee.  It is that simple!  Please note that some events are available on a first come/first served basis.

We encourage everyone to spend extra time in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.  The DoubleTree by Hilton has agreed to offer the convention rate from June 2 through and including June 7th. Come early and enjoy a multitude of wonderful events and activities before and after our convention.

There is another good reason to extend your stay in Omaha, Council Bluffs and the surrounding area offer a multitude of places to go railfanning.

Check from time to time for important news and updates for the convention.

If you have any questions about the 2015 joint convention please contact one of the convention Co-Chairs, Ron Brozanic or Tim Coyle.

See you in Omaha June 4–7, 2015!
