Genealogy

genealogy_clipart[1]_s[1]For those of you doing Genealogical research or trying to track down a family member’s employment records the Union Pacific Historical Society regrets that the UPHS DOES NOT have in its possession or have access to past UPRR employment records.

Some members have supplied the UPHS with information from seniority rosters. That information is available below. If you have additional seniority rosters and would like to share the information please e-mail e UPHS office at uphsoffice@uphs.org

The only information that the UPHS does have currently are the three seniority rosters below from Cheyenne, WY.

  • Fourth District Seniority Roster, Cheyenne, WY 1942
  • Fifth and Sixth District Seniority Roster, Cheyenne, WY 1942
  • Shops Employee Seniority Roster, Cheyenne, WY 1954

Founded in 1984, the Union Pacific Historical Society (UPHS) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of the Union Pacific Railroad from its beginning in 1862 to the operation as it is today. The society is not supported by, or affiliated with the railroad other than the preservation of its rich and colorful history.
