Union Pacific Historical Society

From time-to-time the UPHS will participate in local rail related happenings such as train shows, Union Pacific Employee Day Celebrations and city-wide railroad related historical events. Often we need UPHS members from the local area to help to make our participation in these events successful.

For those of you who were unable to attend the recent UPHS convention in Topeka, KS you still have the opportunity to purchase official UPHS collectables from that convention!

There are limited number of official 2013 Topeka Convention shirts which are available in a limited number of sizes which available for purchase here at the UPHS Company Store.

For those who were unable to go to Topeka this year but still would like to purchase the Convention Pin to complete your UPHS Pin collection, you are in luck! The 2013 Topeka Convention pin can now be purchased at the UPHS Company Store for only $5 plus shipping.

The Union Pacific Historical Society would like to make it clear that it does not have any connection to the restoration of Union Pacific Big Boy # 4014.  The UPHS does not have any information about 4014 other than what is available already in the press. Members should get all official information for the Union Pacific Railroad website or the UP Steam Shop website.

The UPHS does publish a Photo Steam booklet on all UP 4000 class steam locomotives including the 4014 which is available for purchase at the UPHS Company Store.

The UPHS also has published a disc containing Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 4000 class “Big Boy” erecting drawings and details which is also available at the UPHS Company Store.
